The builder is not the problem

Most DIY websites do not stall because the tool is bad. They stall because the founder is making positioning, copy, design, tech, and launch decisions at the same time.

That is too many hats. Some of them are ugly hats.

Shrink the first version

Start with a homepage, one service section, proof, FAQ, and contact path. Skip the blog, animations, custom illustrations, and grand brand manifesto until the site is live.

A smaller live site beats a perfect imaginary one.

Use a deadline with a standard

A deadline without a quality standard creates panic. A quality standard without a deadline creates endless tinkering. You need both.

Define what must work, decide what can wait, then publish.
